While Google is a worldwide e-commerce company, allegations about gender equality in the company have increased in recent years. The lack of representation of women executive roles at a firm that values diversity and gender equality has aroused everyone's curiosity.
Firstly, female executives make up a minority of Google's management team. The low proportion of female managers has prompted a closer examination of the company with a focus on gender inequality, Female leaders must be more involved in the company's management to include diverse viewpoints. Unfortunately, Google, which is one of the biggest companies, is unable to succeed in terms of gender equality.
There are also discussions among the staff about the barriers that prevent women from being promoted. Allegations that women have less opportunities for promotion reflect gender discrimination in Google. As a consequence it was suggested that the company's career development and advancement policies should be examined.
