TV Shows to Watch If You Caught Summer Fever

by Baran Bener

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and everyone wants to go out and have a good time like any other summer day. The little problem with that is that a global pandemic is going on, and it is physically impossible to go out in times like this. So if you have caught the Summer-Fever like everybody and are extremely bored at home, there are many ways to get through this, one way of getting by in a lockdown is finishing entire shows in one sitting. It takes quite the toll on people when deciding what to watch out of the enormous pile of things to choose from, so a list of the best things to watch would help many individuals.

1. Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad is the first show that comes to the minds of critics when a television drama is mentioned. This crime-drama is the most fun, and heartbreaking thing to watch that is on Netflix. This show has a satisfying ending. Also, the show's creators have created a 4 season spin-off of a character in the original series. The show is addicting to watch, get you connected to the characters, and only has five seasons to finish. The story is set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and will make you feel like you are in a desert.

2. Bojack Horseman

This show is a must-watch if you like witty and honest jokes on human behavior and depression. The story is compelling, and the seasons get better as the viewer watches it creating an enjoyable experience. The show catches your attention easily with relatable characters, but it is raw and emotional and often leaves you feeling sad for existing. The show has a summer retro theme that is unique.

3. Fleabag

The biggest difference that this show has is that it has constant fourth wall breaks. The main character narrates his life to the audience. The narration catches the viewer off-guard at first, but after viewing more episodes, the audience gets used to the fourth wall breaks and falls in love with this unique part of the show.

4. Mad Men

Mad Men is a mixture between the show Suits and the movie Goodfellas. The main character carries the show with his terrific dialogue and acting. If I had to choose a replacement for Breaking Bad in a television drama, I would choose Mad Men. The show is set in the 1960s, which is extremely interesting to witness, the characters are unforgettable, and the shows slow burn is rewarding.

5. Mind Hunter

From the mastermind of David Fincher, this show will make you comfortable, and other times it will keep you at the top of your seat. The scariest part of Fincher's Mind Hunter is that it is based on a true story, and the hearth ranching things that happen in the show are mostly real.
