Cem Güventürk

The caricaturist’s navel-gazing short strips capture the viewer’s attention with their splash of bright colors, drawn in messy crayons that give the drawings a flair of faux playfulness. The artist has a weekly column in the gag magazine, Uykusuz, which is published every Thursday.

Melih Çebi

Faces plastered with smiles have become the artist’s trademark, who is based Istanbul. You might have seen the artists latest collection – “Zil Çaldı” – if you were enjoying sushi at ororo sushi bar in Moda. It was exhibited as a set of postcards, free for those who wanted them. They have been replaced with another artist’s work since, but the illustrator is sure to have an exhibition in the upcoming year, so look out.
