Being a zero is hard.
When you are a zero,
people expect things from you.
They want you to be everything,
as well as nothing.
They want you to be infinite,
to provide and care for them.
But they also want you to be silent,
give them time and space.
When you are a zero,
they expect you to be brave.
They want you to be a zero,
and stay that way.
They want everything about you,
only if it’s a zero.
They want you if it’s your size,
if you are thin enough.
They want you if it’s your body count,
if you are pure enough.
But of course being a zero is privileged,
if you know how to use the power.
Being a zero is the end,
there is nothing better or worse than that.
Every ending is also a new beginning,
To get to do that all over again is winning.
But the thing is it’s all a delusion,
a magnificent illusion.
Being a zero comes with consequences.
Being a zero is excruciatingly hard.
